Fionn Regan announces "Berlin, Berlin" album and UK/EU tour
Irish folk artist Fionn Regan has announced the release of his eighth album, Berlin, Berlin, alongside the launch of his label Cormorant Bird in partnership with Secretly Distribution. He has shared opening track “Hurricane Bruise” and also announced a UK/EU tour.
Regan recorded the 10-track LP in East London in less than a week. It follows O Avalanche, released in 2024. That previous record was inspired by time in Mallorca, while Berlin, Berlin is afterdark and minimal, with references to winter light and night skies.
Regan explained in a press statement: “One of the things with the album is I made it fast – super-fast. Five days, maybe six days. I wanted the songs to feel like maybe the record is something that’s come straight out of the ground.”
The album’s opener, “Hurricane Bruise”, is out now.
Regan’s tour begins in Limerick on 26 February and runs through Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe, ending in Darmstadt on 3 April. UK dates include Glasgow on 9 March, Leeds on 10 March, Manchester on 13 March, Birmingham on 15 March, Bristol on 16 March, and London’s EartH Theatre on 19 March. EU stops include Amsterdam on 23 March, Paris on 26 March, Cologne on 27 March, Hamburg on 31 March, and Berlin on 1 April.
