
Fever Ray pull out of End Of The Road Festival as Karin Elisabeth Dreijer recovers from pneumonia
Fever Ray were due to play at End Of The Road Festival this weekend.
Taking to their socials, the band have explained that they will be pulling out of their headline performance.
"After our last show at way out west (which I probably shouldn’t have done cause I was feeling unwell) I ended up in hospital with bacterial pneumonia," Karin Elisabeth Dreijer wrote. "I couldn’t oxygenate myself so they kept me for 7 days with oxygen and intravenous antibiotics. Now my infection is gone but I have a long recovery getting my lungs back. I was so much looking forward to our tour finale and seeing you all again. But we will be back!"
Richard Hawley, Altın Gün, billy woods, Laetitia Sadier, Gustaf, Still House Plants, Lambrini Girls, MC Yallah & Webmaster are set to perform at End of the Road Festival alongside IDLES, Slowdive, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Yo La Tengo, Sleater-Kinney, Lankum, Baxter Dury, Jockstrap and many more.
End of the Road Festival takes place from 29 August - 1 September at Larmer Tree Gardens. Final tickets are available from endoftheroadfestival.com.
