Fcukers lead nominations for Independent Music Awards
The Association of Independent Music (AIM) has announced the nominees for the 2026 Independent Music Awards, with winners to be revealed on 22 September at The Roundhouse in London.
At the top of this year’s nominees are New York duo Fcuker, who took have been nominated for Best Independent Track, Best Independent Album, and Independent Breakthrough, following the release of their debut album Ö earlier this year.
Following closely with two nominations are Robyn, Jalen Ngonda, Jim Legxacy, Jorja Smith, Romy, and Tiana Major9. Additional artists who have been recognised include Geese, Arca, Mitski, Fat Dog, BICEP, Thundercat, and more.
Further shortlisted categories announced today are Best Independent Mixtape/EP, Best Independent Remix, and One To Watch.
