"What he did is fucked up": Ex-Turnstile guitarist fired from another band after attempted murder of Brendan Yates' father

Brady Ebert, who was dismissed from Turnstile in 2022 and The S.E.T. earlier this year, has now been fired from his new band, the hardcore trio Experience.

Ebert is currently in police custody for the attempted murder of William Yates, Turnstile singer Brendan Yates' father, after Ebert hit him with his car on 29 March of this year.

In January of this year, he launched a new band, The S.E.T., but was swiftly let go. Now, his second new band, Experience, have posted the following message on Instagram.

Brady is no longer a member of this band.

We also want to be clear that we didn’t want to make any public statement about that without him knowing first. Right now, he isn’t allowed visitors or phone calls, so we haven’t been able to have that conversation.

At the center of all of this are real people dealing with real trauma, especially the Yates family. That’s what matters most.

Our connection with Brady was rooted in trying to support growth and mental health, which makes this even harder to sit with.

We’re still processing all of this. We’re trying to move forward in a way that’s honest and doesn’t pretend any of this is okay.

Experience will move forward as the duo of Bobby Faithful and Ben Rogers, who founded the band alongside Ebert. Their debut EP Stay Present is set for release this June.
