Eterna details upcoming third album, Push
Eterna - the project of Spanish-born, London-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Guillem Peeters — has announced his upcoming album, Push, and shared new singles “Come what it may, the bitter and the grey” and “Kyrie”.
Push follows Peeters' 2024 album Wardrove — his first solo album following his departure from bar italia as the band's live touring drummer just one year prior — and Debunker, released last year.
Alongside the announcement, Peeters shares "Come what it may, the bitter and the grey", a track which unfolds with drums and strings played by violinist Joolie Wood, the album's only outside collaborator, and "Kyrie", which he made while imagining being dropped into the middle of a six-lane highway at night.
Push features nine songs and was always constructed as a full body of work. On the album, Eterna moves away from the more immediate, dense nature of earlier releases and towards a more expansive sound defined by stripped-back, spacious arrangements. "Silence for me means, 'I am not in a rush,'" Peeters notes.
