Shabaka has announced his forthcoming EP, Possession, and has linked up with billy woods for new single, "Timepieces".

Elsewhere on the EP are collaborations from Elucid, Esperanza Spalding, South African jazz musician Nduduzo Makhathini, Brandee Younger, and Carlos Niño. The EP is set to follow Shabaka's debut solo album, Perceive its Beauty, Acknowledge its Grace.
