C Turtle play their final show ever at End of the Road Festival
London lo-fi four-piece C Turtle marked their breakup last night with a final show at End of the Road Festival.
Originally as a solo project from Cole Flynn Quirke, they released their debut album Expensive Thrills last year and announced via Instagram that they would be “calling it a day” earlier this month noting "all bad smells leave after a while."
During their performance, Quirke told the audience, “This is our last show, but thank you all for making the effort to come see us play - we’re really going to miss doing this," resulting in groans of disappointment – but cheers for an encore as the band departed with a group hug.
End of the Road Festival continues today with headline sets from Self Esteem, DIIV, and Viagra Boys.
Earlybird tickets for the festival’s 20th anniversary edition in 2026 will be onsale from Tuesday 2 September via endoftheroadfestival.com
