Lily Seabird brings the sunshine for End of the Road for main stage debut

Following her secret performance on Best Fit’s piano stage last year and making her End of the Road debut on The Folly, Lily Seabird soars to new heights by securing the opening set at the festival's main stage for its 20th anniversary edition.

Celebrating the release of her new album Lightspheres on Their Way, Seabird rides the knife's edge between alt-country and grunge in a way that is both intimate and open; pared back and expansive. As Sunday's sold-out End of the Road crowd seek the shade, her performance drew droves out into the light. Writing about the comings and goings of her life, grief and joy coexisting as two sides of the same coin, Seabird's set was perfect beginning End of the Road's final day and a mark of an artist who continues to win hearts and conquer bigger stages.

End of the Road's Woods Stage continues today with performances from Super Furry Animals, Folk Bitch Trio and a final send-off headline show from CMAT.
