Ellis shares new song, "all that i've got"
Ellis — the moniker of Ontario songwriter and Ethel Cain guitarist Linnea Siggelkow — has released her new single, "all that i've got".
"all that i've got" follows Ellis' 2024 second album, no place that feels like, and her standalone single "little kid" released last year. In addition to working on her own music, Ellis was invited to play guitar on Ethel Cain's 2022 debut Preacher's Daughter, and has since gone on to become a full-time member of Cain's touring band, performing internationally over the past eighteen months. The new single serves as Ellis' return, and also offers what is described as "an anthem for the misfits of the world".
"This song is about feeling like a loser no matter how hard I try," Ellis says of the track. "I'm not sure how much I believe in the concept of destiny but sometimes it feels like there's nothing I can do to change mine, for better or for worse."
