ELIO signs to FADER Label, shares new single “PRIMADONNA”
Welsh-Canadian artist and Charli xcx collaborator ELIO has signed to FADER Label and released a new single, “PRIMADONNA”, produced by Jack Schrepferman.
The single follows her 2025 sophomore album autonomy, for which she attempted to reconnect with the organic indie sounds that first inspired her. Produced by Jack Schrepferman – known for working with Jensen McRae, Dasha, and Isaac Dunbar – the track also retains much of its original demo, marking a move away from the electronic production of ELIO’s earlier work. (She first debuted during the pandemic with "My friends online".)
The FADER Label signing arrives as ELIO continues to become a favourite of global "pop girlies". She has collaborated with Charli xcx, Tobias Jesso Jr., Rostam, The Chainsmokers, Ian Kirkpatrick, Emily Warren, and J Kash, and has toured the US and internationally, including sold-out headline shows in London, New York, Chicago, Toronto, and LA.
