Efterklang share final album preview, "Sentiment"
Efterklang have shared "Sentiment", as the fourth new single from their forthcoming album, Things We Have In Common.
Efterklang introduced their latest sonic chapter with "Getting Reminders" – a stand-alone single featuring Beirut’s Zach Condon on trumpet. This was followed with "To A New Day", "Plant" featuring Mabe Fratti on cello and vocals, and "Animated Heart" starring Sønderjysk Pigekor (South Denmark Girls' Choir).
“Sentiment” centres around the lyric “everything revolves around love”. The last song written for Things We Have In Common, it offers a conclusion to the process Efterklang went through to create the record, including original Efterklang member Rune Mølgaard’s return to co-write the record with the band after 15 years away. It feels appropriate that the song is being released on Efterklang bassist Rasmus Stolberg’s birthday and that he calls it his favourite song on the album.
Things We Have In Common, is set for release on 27 September via City Slang, and is available to pre-order now.
