Samara Joy, Fatoumata Diawara, Ben Folds, Morcheeba and more lead line-up for EFG London Jazz Festival

EFG London Jazz Festival has revealed the first names for its 2026 edition, set to return between 13 and 22 November.

In addition to performances from jazz singer Samara Joy, Malian singer-songwriter Fatoumata Diawara, American pianist and singer-songwriter Ben Folds, and trip-hop project Morcheeba, the programme will also feature large-scale projects and collaborations in tribute to Miles Davis and John Coltrane. This includes a tribute at the Barbican with Coltrane 100: Both Directions at Once, which will feature Joe Lovano, Melissa Aldana, Nduduzo Makhathini, Linda May Han Oh and Jeff “Tain” Watts, as well as a performance at at the EartH Theatre in Hackney, during which Emma-Jean Thackray will present an event titled Dear Miles - A Love Letter, in which she takes inspiration from Miles Davis’ electric era.

Discussing this year's 34th edition, EFG London Jazz Festival Director Pelin Opcin says: “The EFG London Jazz Festival 2026 promises another vibrant celebration of creativity, bringing together outstanding artists from the UK and across the globe this November. We’re delighted to unveil the first names in this year’s programme, welcoming internationally renowned performers to the line-up - including Samara Joy, Fatoumata Diawara, and Anouar Brahem - with more major stars set to be announced later in the year.
