Eartheater announces her first album in three years, Powders
The announcement is accompanied by a brand new track, "Pure Smile Snake Venom", which was co-produced by Sega Bodega (Shygirl, FKA twigs, Caroline Polachek).
Today, avant-pop and experimental artist, composer, songwriter and producer Eartheater announces her third full-length album alongside the brand new Sega Bodega co-produced single.
Directed by Daniel Sannwald (SZA, Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Rosalia, Bad Bunny), the video for "Pure Smile Snake Venom" draws inspiration from the origin of the smile, channeling the evolution of the act of baring teeth from a threat in the animal kingdom to an invitation in the human world.
Powders and its forthcoming 2024 sister album Aftermath took their initial shape and vision within the hallowed walls of Sunset Sound in Hollywood. Powders draws varied energies from Eartheater’s own tastes as a songwriter and from her stable of co-producers and players, including Yves Rothman, Sega Bodega, Lecx Stacy, Casey MQ, Elliott Kozel, Tony Seltzer, Luis Aponte, Isaiah Barr, Sammy, and Kiri.
In November, Eartheater will embark on a string of European tour dates. The UK leg kicks off in November, including a date at London's Village Underground, as well as shows in Berlin, Oslo, Helsinki and more.
