Dutch Uncles announce new album with title-track "True Entertainment"
Dutch Uncles are back with news of their upcoming album True Entertainment, and have shared the title-track as the lead outing.
"True Entertainment" is the band's first outing from their album of the same name, and follows their 2017 album Big Balloon.
Lead vocalist Duncan Wallis says of the album, "True Entertainment behaves like it knows it's been away for some time, and doesn’t apologise for that. Ultimately, it's written with the mindset that on our sixth album, we’re only in competition with ourselves when it comes to finding satisfaction in our craft."
Everything Everything's Jonathan Higgs and Metronomy's Anna Prior contributed guest vocals to some of the tracks on the new record.
Tracklist:
- True Entertainment
- Damascenes
- Tropigala (2 to 5)
- Poppin’
- Exit Row
- I'm Not Your Dad
- Deep End
- In Salvia
- End Belief
- Dead Letter
"True Entertainment" is out now. Dutch Uncles' album of the same name will arrive on 10 March 2023 via Memphis Industries, and is available to pre-order now.
