Dua Lipa dissects Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef on Saturday Night Live
During her recent appearance as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live, Dua Lipa featured in a skit which took a look at the recent beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
Appearing as Wanda Weems during a morning talk show segment, Lipa says she has spent the "past 48 hours trying to piece it all together". Delving into the lyrics, she says: “Now in Drake’s diss track, he questions Kendrick’s manhood, saying he wears a size 7 shoe, but now, Drake is being sued by Tupac’s estate for using an AI version of his voice," adding that "these diss tracks are getting insane".
On his recent track, "Euphoria", Kendrick Lamar raps: “Somebody had told me that you got a ring / On God, I’m ready to double the wage / I’d rather do that than let a Canadian n**** make ’Pac turn in his grave," later asking, “Am I battlin’ ghost or AI?”
The duo have been going back and forth with diss tracks over the weekend, with Kendrick Lamar dropping three songs, "meet the grahams" and "Not Like Us", alongside "Euphoria".
Dua Lipa's latest album, radical optimism, is out now.
