Donald Glover is set to star in, and produce, a new Spider-Man spin-off film about the villain Hypno-Hustler.

According to Deadline, Donald Glover is on board to produce and star in a new Spider-Man universe film centred around the villain Hypno-Hustler.

The film is currently untitled, and although it's in early stages with no director on board yet, Eddie Murphy's son Myles Murphy is due to write the screenplay.

The Spider-Man villain Hypno-Hustler was first featured in Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #24 in 1978.

Last Friday (16 December) Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, joined Billie Eilish at her third LA show.
