Del Water Gap returns with first track in two years, "How To Live"
Del Water Gap – the solo project of Samuel Holden Jaffe – has returned with new single, "How To Live", marking his first release in two years.
Exploring moral ambiguity, spirituality, and the restless search for meaning outside ourselves, the song captures the disorienting truth that we're all experiencing being alive. In its vulnerability, "How To Live" finds a glimmer of redemption in feeling lost.
The track is the first new music from Del Water Gap since the release of I Miss You Already + I Haven't Left Yet.
I Miss You Already + I Haven't Left Yet was inspired by a note scrawled in the margins of his grandfather's William Carlos Williams poetry book addressed to his grandmother. The record came with contributions from Arlo Parks and Clairo and was produced by Del Water Gap alongside Sammy Witte (Harry Styles, Halsey) and Ethan Gruska (Phoebe Bridgers).
"How To Live" is out now via Mom + Pop.
