Deer park and Ivy Knight make Scenic Route debut with new single, “Black Cat”
NYC-based producer Deer park and singer-songwriter Ivy Knight continue their longtime collaboration with new single "Black Cat", marking the first release for both artists on London independent label Scenic Route.
Speaking about the new track, the pair explain: "Writing and making music together has always been a crucial part of our friendship. It gives us a plane to relate and flesh out memories we’ve shared in ways that can’t be simply discussed. The push and pull between the parts that align and the parts that diverge in our experiences reveal themselves when we write together. This feels especially true in the case of ‘Black Cat’. The song is both a reflection and a fabulation of our time spent living in upstate New York.”
