Death Lens team up with Militarie Gun on new single, "Waiting to Know"
Los Angeles alt-punk outfit Death Lens have released their new song, "Waiting to Know", featuring Militarie Gun vocalist Ian Shelton, lifted from their upcoming album What’s Left Now?.
"Waiting to Know", co-written by Death Lens and Shelton, follows previous singles "Monolith", "Power", "Drown", and "Debt Collector" as the latest preview of the band's first album in two years. The track arrives with a video directed by Joél Verges, featuring an appearance from Shelton.
Speaking about the track, singer Bryan Torres says, "'Waiting to Know' sits somewhere between growing older and not knowing if you ever really do. It’s fear and acceptance sharing the same skin, looping the same question until it stops sounding like a question at all. What’s next? My biggest fear: the unknown. It’s about spending your whole life waiting to know, waiting to go, like the answer is always just out of reach but already written somewhere you can’t read yet.”
What’s Left Now? is released on 24 April via Epitaph
