David Byrne teams up with Natalia Lafourcade on "¿Cuál Es La Razón?"
David Byrne has released "¿Cuál Es La Razón?", featuring Mexican singer Natalia Lafourcade, a reimagining of his song "What Is The Reason For It?" from his 2025 album Who Is The Sky?.
"¿Cuál Es La Razón?" is inspired by Byrne's experiences in Mexico City, with vocals from Lafourcade replacing those of Hayley Williams in the original track. The song was produced by the Mexican Institute Of Sound, bringing a brass-forward sound to the Latin-inspired duet.
The remix comes just as Byrne has announced a run of tour dates in Mexico this summer, which will follow headline shows in the UK and Europe, as well as several festival appearances, including Roskilde, Down The Rabbit Hole, and more.
