Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin launch The Hanukkah Sessions 2022 with cover of Blood, Sweat & Tears' "Spinning Wheel"
Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin have kicked off the 2022 edition of The Hanukkah Sessions with a cover of Blood, Sweat & Tears' "Spinning Wheel" featuring comedian Judd Apatow.
Yesterday (18 December) marked the first day of Hanukkah 2022, and also meant Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin's annual Hanukkah Sessions returned. In previous years Grohl and Kurstin performed their Hanukkah covers in a studio, but for 2022, they recorded the sessions live at LA's Largo at the Coronet venue with some special guests.
The first release of Grohl and Kurstin's 2022 Hanukkah Sessions is a cover of Blood, Sweat & Tears' 1968 track "Spinning Wheel", and features comedian Judd Apatow on lead vocals.
This year's edition of Grohl and Kurstin's Hanukkah Sessions is expected to feature contributions from Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Karen O, Pink, Beck, Jack Black, Kyle Gass, Grohl's daughter Violet and Inara George.
Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin's 2022 Hanukkah Sessions will continue later today (19 December).
