Dave announces new album, The Boy Who Played the Harp
Dave has announced his forthcoming third studio album, The Boy Who Played the Harp, his first release since 2023.
The Boy Who Played the Harp follows the success of the self-produced collaborative EP Split Decision by Dave and Central Cee back in 2023, on which the leading single "Sprinter" broke the record for the longest-running number-one rap song in UK history.
This topped his 2022 single, "Starlight", which held the record as the longest-running number-one solo track and the first UK number one by a sole writer and producer in eight years.
The new album marks the London rapper's first full-length release since his 2021 album We're All Alone in This Together, which achieved gold status and charted as the biggest UK Rap record in over ten years, succeeding his Mercury Prize-winning, number one debut Psychodrama.
The Boy Who Played the Harp is due for release on 24 October and is available to pre-order now.
