Daniel Avery remixes the Happy Mondays track, "Hallelujah"
Daniel Avery has remixed Happy Mondays classic track, "Hallelujah" as the second in a series ofdrops which bridge the iconic band’s legacy with today’s electronic innovators.
The second in the remix drop series, the Daniel Avery remix follows Oakenfold’s new “Step On” remix and there will be further remix drops in 2026 from Anna Prior, Mella Dee, The Reflex and Shadow Child. The remix drops form part of a series of special releases to mark 40 years of the iconic Manchester band, which also includes the new compilation The Factory Singles.
The Factory Singles compiles all Happy Mondays singles on the legendary Manchester label Factory Records, including “Step On”, “Kinky Afro”, “Hallelujah” and “24-Hour Party People”. This definitive collection captures the band’s ground-breaking output from 1985 –1992, celebrating their pivotal role in shaping UK music culture.
The Factory Singles, will be released on 5 December, and is available to pre-order now.
