cumgirl8 share their new single "cursed angel"
"cursed angel" is the third offering from their forthcoming EP phantasea pharm.
Speaking on the song, the band says, “"cursed angel" is about feeling like you’re slipping out of reality; it’s uncontrollable and sometimes you can’t contain it. if you don’t fight it, the outcome can be positive.”
"cursed angel" follows "gothgirl1" – co-written with Nick Launay (Kate Bush, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Slits) – and "cicciolina", which is a tribute to the Hungarian-Italian pornstar turned politician of the same name.
phantasea pharm follows last year’s standalone single "dumb bitch" and the previous EPs, cumgirl8 (2020) and RIPcumgirl8 (2021).
"cursed angel" is out now. phantasea pharm arrives on 18 August via 4AD.
