Cult of Luna team up with Gojira's Joe Duplantier on new song, "Sadness Will Reign"
Cult of Luna have released "Sadness Will Reign" featuring Gojira vocalist and guitarist Joe Duplantier, the final preview of their upcoming tenth album, In the Shadow of Your Shadow.
"Sadness Will Reign" follows previous singles "The Rift", "A Way Back" and title track "In the Shadow of Your Shadow". The song sees Duplantier step in on vocals, and arrives as Cult of Luna gear up to headline Damnation Festival in Manchester this weekend.
“What I like about Joe is that he has a very particular voice,” says Cult of Luna vocalist Johannes Persson. “I think it’s one of the reasons why Gojira stand out as the metal giants that they are. It has its own unique character and would stand out even if you put him next to a hundred or a thousand other vocalists.”
