Courtney Barnett, Allison Crutchfield, Meg Duffy feature on Morgan Nagler's debut solo album, I've Got Nothing to Lose, and I'm Losing It
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Morgan Nagler has announced her debut solo album, I've Got Nothing to Lose, and I'm Losing It, and shared new single "Grassoline".
I've Got Nothing to Lose, and I'm Losing It will be Morgan Nagler's first solo project, following her time co-writing with artists including Phoebe Bridgers, Margo Price, Kim Deal, and HAIM, and serving as lead vocalist in both Whispertown and Supermoon. Following "Cradle The Pain" and "Orange Wine" released last year, she reveals the newest preview of the upcoming album, "Grassoline".
Nagler began working on I've Got Nothing to Lose, and I'm Losing It after her engagement was broken off in 2024. She went on to record the songs in Los Angeles with King Tuff as her co-producer, and a band consisting of Allison Crutchfield (Snocaps, P.S. Eliot), Madi Diaz, and Bethany Cosentino (Best Coast) on backing vocals, Gabe Noel on bass, Courtney Barnett, Meg Duffy (Hand Habits), and Harrison Whitford on guitars, and Josh Adams on drums.
Speaking of the album, Nagler says: “Mine is the story of somebody who decided to never stop. Recently there have been more signs from the universe to keep going. But the ultimate sign has really just been within myself, realising that I have a lifetime of experiences and my own unique perspective, and that is the gift I have to offer.”
