Conor Albert returns with new single, "We never talk"
South London based artist, songwriter and producer Conor Albert has returned with "We never talk" as his first release in three years.
The single features Conor’s own vocals and marks his first new music since his acclaimed EP, Collage 2, released in 2022.
Speaking more on his new single “We never talk”, Conor Albert says, “I made this song during a time I was trying my hardest to be super palatable. I was listening to loads of pop music and obsessing about simplicity. I have a long history of not being great at maintaining relationships so it’s probably about that.”
“I changed a lot in the last few years in how I think about and consume music,” he says. “I don’t think of things cerebrally anymore. I just let music do whatever it wants to me.”
His new material centres less on meticulous technicality and leans more on impacting both the body and mind of the listener. He adds, “To me, it’s a production showcase. Every beat to me has something unique and special and boundary pushing about it.”
