Connie Constance returns with new single, "The Offering"
Singer-songwriter Connie Constance has returned with the release of her new single, "The Offering", which was written alongside Dan Rothman (London Grammar), SOHN, and Theo Hutchcraft.
Born out of a moment of emotional surrender, "The Offering" reflects Connie Constance’s journey through the complexities of entering womanhood, balancing the desire to nurture, create, and fight for justice while learning to embrace imperfection and change. “This woman that I am, who comes with uncertainties, insecurities, strength, intellect sometimes, silliness more often, is my offering,” she says. “I will not preserve myself for anyone other than my own desires.”
What began as an intimate reflection on the shifts of womanhood and confronting the impossible beauty ideals imposed on women, evolved into an explosive sonic release, a journey from vulnerability to empowerment. “Before words and sounds, I knew I wanted to create something that starts intimate and erupts,” she says, “It’s about allowing myself to be loud, messy, soft, and unapologetically me.”
"The Offering" stands as both a personal statement and a shared message for women everywhere. “Women go through great changes at many stages of our lives, and each time feels just as mighty as the time before,” Connie Constance reflects. “I hope this song can be a space for listeners to feel seen and not alone.
"The Offering" is out now via Jump The Fence.
