Listen: Siinai x Dominic O'Dair from TOY – Anthem 1&2 [Best Fit Premiere]
To celebrate a certain sporting event that a few of you may have heard mentioned recently, Finland’s Siinai have been busily preparing a collection of remixes to soundtrack the event. Over the next few weeks, the group will be unveiling a series of remixed tracks from their album Olympic Games, an instrumental record which looks to the origins of the Olympic Games and the emotions that sport can evoke in people as its main inspiration.
Today, we’re very excited to unveil the next in the remix series, which has so far seen work from the likes of The Horrors, Bendagram and Japanese Wallpaper. TOY‘s Dominic O’Dair is the man who undertook the challenge of remixing ‘Anthem 1&2′, available to hear and download exclusively below.
And if that weren’t reason to celebrate enough, we’re also offering a lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets to an actual Olympic event! The Men’s Football Quarterfinal – 1st Group D vs. 2nd Group C on Saturday 4 August at Manchester’s Old Trafford, to be more precise.
To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is to ‘like’ us on Facebook and post this competition on your wall – make sure that you tag @The Line of Best Fit in the text of the post, so that we can see it! If you’re a Twitter user, simply ‘Follow’ us and tweet a link to the competition from your account, accompanied by the name of your favourite Olympic sport.
Competition closes at 10am on Tuesday 31 July.
Best of luck to the competitors, and make sure to keep an eye on the rest of the remix series by checking out Siinai’s site.
