CMAT performs cover of Catatonia's Road Rage at Green Man Festival
On Saturday night, CMAT performed a cover of Cataconia's 1999 track, "Road Rage" during her first ever Welsh performance at Green Man Festival.
After performing recent singles, "The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station", "Take A Sexy Picture Of Me" as well as "I Wanna Be A Cowboy, Baby!", CMAT announced to the crowd that "CMAT stands for Cerys Matthews", before draping herself in the Welsh flag and performing a cover of "Road Rage" by Catatonia.
It was also revealed that CMAT drew one of the largest crowd's at the Mountain Stage for her debut performance in Wales.
CMAT is set to release her third studio album, EURO-COUNTRY, later this month. The forthcoming full-length from CMAT follows her Ivors; Mercury Prize and the Choice Music Prize-nominated 2023 album, Crazymad, For Me, and her debut, If My Wife New I’d Be Dead.
EURO-COUNTRY, is set for release on 29 August via AWAL, and is available to pre-order now.
