Cigarettes After Sex return with new single, Twizzler
Cigarettes After Sex have released their new single, "Twizzler", their first new music of 2026.
"Twizzler" follows standalone single "Anna Karenina", released last year, which followed their 2024 album X's. While this is the first offering from Cigarettes After Sex as a band, vocalist and guitarist Greg Gonzalez performed alongside Karol G at Coachella just last month.
While the band have not laid out any plans for new music or a tour this year, their song "Apocalypse", from their 2017 eponymous debut, has become one of only almost 200 songs to surpass two billion streams on Spotify. Their singles "Cry", "Sunsetz", and "K." have also each surpassed one billion streams on Spotify, making them one of only eleven bands to have four or more songs with over one billion streams, placing them among the likes of Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, and Queen.
"Twizzler" is out now on Partisan Records
