
Chic vocalist Alfa Anderson dies aged 78

Alfa Anderson, vocalist of legendary disco/soul band Chic, has died at the age of 78.
Nile Rogers – producer, co-founder, and multi-instrumentalist of Chic – confirmed the news via social media, with a video tribute to the late singer. Anderson sang lead vocals on some of Chic's most famous songs including "Le Freak," "Good Times," and "I Want Your Love.
No cause of death has been disclosed.
