Chartreuse work on vulnerability with new release, "More"

Black Country four-piece Chartreuse have unveiled their latest single, "More", which is taken from their forthcoming second album, Bless You & Be Well.

Speaking about the release, guitarist and vocalist Mike Wagstaff says: “On the surface, it might seem provocative, but really, it's about shedding the masks we hide behind to avoid being vulnerable. Ultimately, the song grapples with the balance between visibility and invisibility—How much I am willing to reveal before I burn out and lose myself? How far do you take it? How far do you go? Before you end up falling short or becoming cold.”

The band have also announced a run of album listening parties and record shop in-store dates, coinciding with the release of Bless You & Be Well, alongside the previously announced dates on their UK headline tour this autumn.

"More" is out now. Bless You & Be Well, is out on 29 August via Communion Records, and is available to pre-order now.
