Charli xcx teases John Cale collaboration alongside Wuthering Heights soundtrack
Charli xcx has announced that she will be releasing a new album for for Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, and teases a collaboration with John Cale.
Yesterday afternoon (6 November), Charli xcx shared a video to her socials which revealed that she will be releasing a collaboration with John Cale, as part of the soundtrack for Wuthering Heights. "House featuring @therealjohncale. The first offering from my album for Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of “Wuthering Heights”. Yours, Monday," she wrote.
Wuthering Heights is the forthcoming Gothic drama film produced, written, and directed by Emerald Fennell, loosely inspired by Emily Brontë's 1847 novel Wuthering Heights. The film stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, respectively, alongside Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell in supporting roles.
"House" is set for release on 10 November. Wuthering Heights will be released on 11 February 2026 via Warner Bros. Pictures.
