Charli XCX has been in the studio with Bon Iver and Danielle Haim
In a recent interview with Vulture's New York, Charli XCX spoke about her future musical plans and collaborations.
Following the release of her sixth studio album, BRAT, Charli XCX has been the name on everyone's lips. From the deluxe album, to working it out on the remix with Lorde on "Girl, so confusing", and breaking the internet with the Billie Eilish collaboration, "Guess", there has been speculation as to whether we will see any more remixes or releases to cap off BRAT summer.
Speaking to New York, Charli XCX revealed: “Random artists are calling. I can’t say who, but people I greatly respect. It’s like being the new kid in school who people are fascinated by.” The night before the interview, she explained that she was feeling tired after being in a late night studio session with Bon Iver and Danielle Haim, but didn't offer any further details about what they were working on.

Rumours are circulating about a "Sympathy is a knife" remix with Taylor Swift, and New York reached out to her for her thoughts on Charli XCX's ascent. “I’ve been blown away by Charli’s melodic sensibilities since I first heard ‘Stay Away’ in 2011. Her writing is surreal and inventive, always. She just takes a song to places you wouldn’t expect it to go, and she’s been doing it consistently for over a decade. I love to see hard work like that pay off," Swift said.
Whilst keeping tight-lipped after the music, Charli did say that there is a "full-length other project [which is] definitely in the bratosphere, so to speak". What she did reveal is that she's due to branch out into acting, making an appearance in the remake of Faces of Death – the 1978 horror film, in a "pretty unrecognisable" role.
