CASISDEAD and Rainy Miller feature on new Actress album, Radical Frame

Radical Frame follows Actress’ album Concréte Waves released earlier this year in collaboration with Suzanne Ciani. The newest addition to his extensive discography expands on what is described as “inter-dimensional electronic composition”, and sees him come closer to the idea of Black avant-garde.

“Overchord” arrives as the second preview of the album, following previous single “Live By You” which features producer and grime MC CASISDEAD. The track is accompanied by a video made by Anna van der Velde, which sees Actress trapped in a luxury prison of his own design.

Elsewhere on the album, Actress teams up with experimental electronic artist Rainy Miller, expanding on his own textures of “refracted dancefloor heat”.

Over the next few months, Actress will be DJing and playing live across Asia, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Europe. This will include appearances at We Out Here festival, Pitchfork Festival London, and more.
