Cardinals reveal debut album offering, "The Burning of Cork"
Cork five-piece Cardinals have shared new single, "The Burning of Cork", as the latest offering from their forthcoming debut album, Masquerade.
“The song takes its name from the act of terror inflicted upon Cork City by the British Army's Black and Tan forces in December 1920. It's the record at its heaviest and most menacing,” says frontman Euan Manning about the latest release from their debut album.
The new releases follow last year's one-off single, "Get It", and before that a self-titled debut EP, as well as recent single, "Big Empty Heart", which is the only song Cardinals have previously released that makes the cut for their debut album.
Masquerade is set to land on 13 February via So Young Records, and is available to pre-order now.
