Cardi B lauches her microphone at a concertgoer who threw their drink at her
On Saturday afternoon, at a beach club in Las Vegas, Cardi B retaliated when a fan threw their drink at her.
While she was performing her hit “Bodak Yellow” at a beach club in Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon, a concertgoer threw a drink at Cardi B. In retaliation, she threw her microphone into the crowd, and had the person escorted out.
The night before, at a club in Vegas, Cardi also threw her microphone at a DJ who kept cutting off her songs before she was ready to finish them. Both videos have since been going viral online.
This follows a current unfortunate trend of concertgoers throwing things at performers when they're on stage. Recently a video surfaced of Bebe Rexha performing in New York. A concertgoer thew his phone at the singer, who had to be hospitalised after the incident. The following day, she shared a picture of her injuries which included stitches in her eyebrow, and a black eye.

This was quickly followed by footage of Ava Max was slapped in the face by a concertgoer, to which she later tweeted: " He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He’s never coming to a show again", meanwhile country singer Kelsea Ballerini was hit in the face with an object thrown by a fan during a concert in Idaho. She tried to continue playing guitar, after asking her violinist to check on her, but eventually she walked off stage.
Adele addressed these situations at a concert in Las Vegas: "Have you noticed how people are forgetting fucking show etiquette and people are just throwing shit on stage?," she asked the crowd. "I fucking dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I'll fucking kill you," she continued before launching a t-shirt at them.
Cardi B is yet to release a statement regarding the incident. In other news, she recently teamed up with her husband Offset on the brand new single, "Jealousy".
