
BTS' Jungkook becomes fastest South Korean solo artist to reach 100 million Spotify streams with "Dreamers"
Jungkook of BTS has become the fastest South Korean solo artist to pass 100 million Spotify streams with his 2022 FIFA World Cup song "Dreamers".
On 20 November Jungkook of BTS debuted a new solo song titled "Dreamers" at the 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Qatar, and according to The Korea Herald, the song has passed 100 million streams on Spotify in a record time.
The song reached 100 million streams on the platform yesterday (29 December), just 35 days on from release, making him the fastest South Korean solo artist to achieve the milestone.
"Dreamers" marked Jungkook's first outing since featuring on Charlie Puth's "Left and Right" back in August.
Last week BTS' V shared a solo cover of "It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas".
BTS have announced a global cinema release for their Busan concert film in February 2023.
