
BTS' Jin reveals he co-wrote new single "The Astronaut" with Coldplay
Jin of BTS has revealed that his forthcoming solo single "The Astronaut" was co-written by Coldplay.
After sharing the title, release date, schedule and trailer for "The Astronaut" yesterday (18 October), Jin of BTS has confirmed rumours that the upcoming single was co-written by Coldplay.

BTS last worked with Coldplay on "My Universe" in 2021.
Following the single release later this month, Jin will be the first BTS member to begin the process of completing his mandatory military service. It was revealed earlier this week that all members will move forward with completing their mandatory military service in South Korea, and are planning to reunite as a group in 2025.
Jin's new single "The Astronaut" will arrive on 28 October.
