Scottish singer-songwriter Brooke Combe has released her new single, "Love Was Made Of Stone".

"Love Was Made Of Stone" follows Combe's Fontana debut "Tears Won't Lie", released in April. Recorded with The Coral’s James Skelly at Kempston Studios in Liverpool, the song is a soulful account of someone freeing themselves from a relationship built on illusion.

“The song is about years of what was thought to be real love, but something that turns into manipulation and game playing,” Brooke says of the track. “Almost like that toxic love we’re all aware exists, that you know is no good for you, but you keep holding on with the hope something may change, but it never does.”
