Bright Eyes cancel album release shows as Conor Oberst loses his voice
Bright Eyes have shared a statement cancelling three shows in celebration of their forthcoming album release.
Taking to their socials, the band wrote: "We’re heartbroken to announce that our upcoming record release shows have been canceled. The warm up shows we played earlier this week resulted in Conor losing his voice and, on the advice of doctors, we’ve made the difficult but sensible decision to prioritize rest and recuperation for the remainder of the month."
They added that they are working to reschedule the dates, but refunds are currently available at the point of purchase.
Earlier this week, Bright Eyes debuted songs from their forthcoming album, Five Dice, All Threes, including “Bells And Whistles,” “El Capitan,” “Bas Jan Ader,” “Real Feel 105°,” and “Tiny Suicides”.
Five Dice, All Threes, is set for release on 20 September via Dead Oceans, and available to pre-order now.
