On Christmas Eve, Bono and Imelda May came together to sing Darlene Love's "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" at Dublin Simon Community's annual charity show.

On 24 December, Dublin Simon Community hosted their fifteenth live session in support of people experiencing homelessness in the region. "The generosity of Dublin Simon supporters allows us to continue our work to help people who are exposed to or experiencing homelessness," the charity states.

The Christmas Eve Busk started in 2010 with Glen Hansard doing an impromptu performance on Grafton Street, accepting donations for Dublin Simon. He was soon joined by Mundy, Imelda May, Declan O’Rourke, and Paul Brady

Since then, the event continues to be led by Glen Hansard and has seen several artists performing, including Damien Rice, Hozier, Sinéad O'Connor. This year's busk hosted roughly 30 artists in Dublin city centre, including The Riptide Movement and Shobsy.

Bono was the last to take the stage for the night alongside May for their "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" duet. The night ended with The Pogues' "Fairytale Of New York", with May wishing late vocalist Shane MacGowan a "Happy birthday for tomorrow" (25 December).
