Body Type celebrate tenth anniversary with third album, Tally
Australian punk band Body Type have announced their new album, Tally, and shared new single, "Mullberry".
Body Type first released their debut single "Ludlow" in 2016, with Tally serving as the follow-up to their 2023 album Expired Candy. "Mullberry" is the second preview of the album, following "And What Else?", and is noted to be built upon "meditation on self-dissolution".
Tally was recorded at Velveteen Laboratory Studios in Los Angeles with producer Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint, Courtney Barnett, Kim Gordon) and combines post-punk and 60s pop for an evolved collection of songs from the band. Having shared stages with the likes of Velveteen Laboratory Studios in Los Angeles with producer Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint, Courtney Barnett, Kim Gordon, Body Type are set to hit the road again to support Courtney Barnett in autumn following the release.
