Bodega share cover of Bob Dylan's "Slow Train"
NYC band Bodega have released a reimagining of Bob Dylan's 1979 song, "Slow Train".
"Slow Train" was originally released on Dylan's album Slow Train Coming. The cover is featured on Bodega's upcoming album All Inside Aquarium, following the title track, as well as previous singles "Weather Me", "Literary World", and "Pick up the Check".
Speaking about the cover, guitarist and vocalist Ben Hozie says: "This Bob Dylan ‘cover’ (original music + Bob’s lyrics) was the first thing we recorded with producer Matt Peel as a test to see how the sessions would go. We ended up loving the track, hence its inclusion on the LP. Bob’s gospel-inspired text actually speaks volumes to the current moment."
All Inside Aquarium is released on 9 October via Chrysalis Records
