Blood Wizard shares new single, "Back2bed"
Blood Wizard, the project of songwriter and guitarist Cai Burns, has shared the new single "Back2bed", which is taken from the forthcoming album Grinning William.
"Back2bed seems like a downer on the surface, but really it’s about enjoying that sadness a little bit. It captures the dreamy melancholy you get when you’ve been inside for too long, avoiding everything," Blood Wizard explains. "I have a tendency to hide away for periods of time, especially when I’m making music, and I wanted to capture the emotion I feel in that space. It’s not really good or bad; it can just be nice to avoid the world sometimes".
Grinning William arrives three years after Burn’s critically acclaimed debut, Western Spaghetti. The album has been previewed with Blood Wizard's comeback single, "babytooth" and the subsequent releases, "Devil Dressed In Disguise" and "BIG FISH".
Grinning William will be released on 25 October via Sad Club Records.
