BLACKPINK unleash the brand new single, “The Girls"
"The Girls" marks the K-pop group's first music since releasing the record-breaking number one album, BORN PINK.
"The Girls" is their highly anticipated new single which debuted on BLACKPINK's THE GAME — the hugely popular mobile game. In addition to releasing new music, the foursome will perform at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles on the final date of their WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] ENCORE on 26 August.
The enormous success of BORN PINK is just the latest achievement in what has been a meteoric ascent for the K-pop group. After releasing global hits such “How You Like That” and their song with Selena Gomez “Ice Cream,” BLACKPINK released THE ALBUM in 2020 to universal acclaim.
The captivating project debuted at number two on both the U.S. Billboard 200 and UK Official Chart, and sold more than 1.4 million copies worldwide, making BLACKPINK the first K-pop girl group to sell over a million units.
