Big Noble announce second album, It’s Later Than You Think

25 July 2025, 13:18 | Written by Tyler Damara Kelly

Big Noble, the project from Interpol’s Daniel Kessler and sound designer Joseph Fraioli, have announced their second album, It’s Later Than You Think, alongside the release of new single, "All the Marbles".

The track arrives alongside a video directed by Atiba Jefferson (Turnstile, Tyler, The Creator, Dinosaur Jr.) featuring professional skateboarder Cody Chapman. “One of the first songs that we worked on through our Transatlantic exchange, ‘All the Marbles’ soars and moves quite differently than the material from our first album,” Daniel Kessler says of the track. “It felt like a bellwether track that we could continue our collaboration even if we were a continent apart.”

An appeal to the imagination, It’s Later Than You Think is an invitation to create movies in your mind. "I want It’s Later Than You Think to be the soundtrack to the listener's own personal movie," Daniel Kessler says, "when they're walking down the street, when they're looking out the window of a train, when they're watching people walk by a window in a café. It's their movie."

A project firmly based in collaboration, the album features a radical reworking of first single "All the Marbles" from TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe and his musical partner Wilder Zoby and a hypnotic version of "No Sharing in Tech House" from The Strokes’ Fabrizio Moretti and his brother Leo Moretti.

It’s Later Than You Think will be released digitally exclusively via Bandcamp on 15 August, and is available to pre-order now.
