Bicep and Noisia revealed as closing acts for Boomtown 2027

Boomtown has announced the first details of its 2027 edition, returning to Matterley Estate, Hampshire, between 11-15 August.

Following this year's Radical Redesign instalment, Boomtown is set to return in 2027 with its next chapter, Wild Style. The festival's eighteenth edition will include a closing set from Belfast duo Bicep — who will be returning in January with SLUG, their first album in five years — at The Lion's Den stage, and freshly reunited Dutch trio Noisia, who are set to perform at the green hydrogen-powered HYDRO XL stage.

“After years of trying to make it work, we are very excited to finally be bringing the live show to Boomtown to close the Lions Den in 2027," Bicep share.

“The last time I played Boomtown was during our farewell tour," adds Noisia founding member Thijs." I remember looking out at 35,000 people filling the entire bowl, there to say goodbye to us. It was an incredible moment, but all I could think was that it should have been the three of us on that stage. So it feels pretty special that we get to come back and play Boomtown together after all.”

Boomtown has also revealed that Phase 1 of the line-up is set to be announced on Thursday, 26 November 2026. In the meantime, they've unveiled plans for how the festival is set to expand for 2027. Anara Forest is being reimagined with a 360° audio-visual journey, and citizens can now look forward to easier transport across the city with “The Transportal”, which will carry festivalgoers all the way up the infamous "Hippy Highway", which connects some of Boomtown's most sprawling districts.

This year, Boomtown returned in a newly expanded form with six districts, twelve main stages, and more than fifty hidden venues. The festival saw performances from a range of different artists across different, including Skrillex, Four Tet, Madness, Shaggy, Fcuckers, Kae Tempest, Peaches, and more.
