Beaks reveals plans for debut album, ALDIE
Beaks has — the project of Vienna-based experimental post-punk artist and writer Anna Francesca — has announced her first album, ALDIE, and shared her self-reflective new single "little silver".
"little silver" follows Beaks' previous single "TY (robbed the bank)" released last month. The track combines references to Pete Doherty's "A Little Death Around the Eyes" and Nirvana's "Sliver", with Francesca describing the song as "a letter to myself".
ALDIE was created during a period of personal turbulence and was produced in collaboration with close friend Markus Windisch. The album sees Beaks investigate the spaces that exist between dreams and reality through a blend of indie, pop, punk, and electronic music.
ALDIE is released in November via dottidot
